AI story video generator

A story idea in, a narrated and illustrated video out, with characters and places that hold steady from scene to scene.

An AI story video generator writes a narrated story and draws the pictures for it, so a history, mythology, true crime or sleep-story channel can publish without filming anything. Channel Farm does both halves. It writes the script in the voice of your channel, generates an original image for every scene in a style you choose, records the narration, times the captions and renders a 16:9 video of 7 to 15 minutes. Recurring characters, locations and objects can be locked so a series looks like one series.

Story channels have a problem that explainer channels do not. There is no stock footage of a Bronze Age harbour, a Norse god or the inside of a 1920s courtroom. Tools that build from clip libraries run out of pictures on the first scene. Channel Farm never looks for a clip. It reads what the narration says at that moment and draws it.

The second problem is drift. A hero who has a different face in every scene breaks the spell. A brand profile can hold a locked character, described once and approved by you, and every scene that character appears in is generated from that same description. Consistent World does the same for the places and objects a series keeps returning to, so the tavern in episode nine is the tavern from episode one.

How it works

Five steps, one of them yours.

  1. Set the world once

Choose the niche, the visual style, the narrator voice and caption look. Lock a recurring character if the series has one.

  2. Type the story idea

A premise, a historical event, a case, a myth. The script is written in the speaking style you picked. Edit it or let it run.

  3. Scenes are drawn and voiced

The script is split into scenes, each scene becomes an image prompt with the locked character and setting written in, images are generated, the narration is recorded, captions are timed.

  4. Adjust in the editor

Redraw a scene that missed, animate the ones that deserve motion, tighten the narration, add music. Optional.

  5. Download and publish

The rendered MP4, a thumbnail made from the video’s own frames, and a title, description and tags. Upload from your own account.

Honest scoping

Good at, and not built for.

Good at

  • History and biography told as narrative
  • Mythology, folklore and lore channels
  • True crime, mystery and unsolved cases
  • Philosophy, thought experiments and POV stories
  • Sleep stories and slow ambient narratives
  • Counter-factual and speculative "what if" history

Not built for

  • Documentary work that needs real archival footage throughout
  • Product reviews, cooking, travel or fitness
  • Breaking news or current-events commentary
  • Face-on-camera or personality-led storytelling
  • Repurposing existing clips or screen recordings

You can place your own photograph or clip into an individual scene, for a real portrait or a licensed archival still, but the default is generated art, and there is no stock library.

Story niches

Built for the channels where the pictures illustrate the telling.

  • History. Battles, collapses, inventions, last days. One image per beat of the story, in a period-appropriate style.
  • Mythology. Gods and monsters drawn consistently across an entire pantheon series.
  • True crime. Cases told carefully, with a fixed cast and setting and no recycled stock footage of the same police tape.
  • Philosophy. Thought experiments and parables where the visual is a metaphor, not a photo.
  • Sleep stories. Long, slow, softly narrated pieces with gentle motion on the scenes that need it.

A 10-minute story at the relaxed pace uses 50 credits. The Minimum plan, $49 a month, covers about 6 of them. Animated scenes are available from the Starter plan. See the plans.

Questions, answered

The honest FAQ.

What does an AI story video cost to make? +

A 10-minute story at the relaxed pace uses 50 credits. The Minimum plan ($49 a month, 300 credits) covers about 6 of them. Longer stories and faster scene changes cost more credits, and animated scenes are billed on top by the second.

How long does it take to generate a story video? +

The script is written in about a minute and you can edit it before anything else runs. The scenes, narration, captions and render then usually finish in well under 15 minutes. A ten-minute story typically has dozens of scenes, each with its own generated image.

Can I keep the same character across a whole series? +

Yes. A brand profile can lock a recurring character, and the pipeline uses that character’s approved description in every scene it appears in. Consistent World does the same for recurring locations and objects, so a series set in one place looks like one place from episode to episode.

Can story channels made with AI be monetized? +

They can, subject to YouTube’s normal thresholds and rules. What YouTube penalizes is repetitive, mass-produced content, so every Channel Farm video gets a new script and new images. We disclose AI-generated content as YouTube requires. Whether a channel earns depends on the audience it builds, and nothing is guaranteed.

Why not use Pictory or InVideo for story videos? +

You can, but they build from stock footage, and there is no stock footage of a Bronze Age battle or a myth. Channel Farm generates every scene as an original image in a style you pick, from cinematic to stained glass to stick figures, and holds characters and settings steady across scenes. It also writes the narration itself, in a speaking style you choose.

What do I need to start a story channel? +

Story ideas and a YouTube channel. Pick a niche such as history, mythology, true crime, philosophy or sleep stories, choose a visual style and a voice, and type your first topic. You do not need to write scripts, record audio or edit video.

Can I cancel if it is not for me? +

Yes. There is no contract and no free trial. Plans renew monthly and you can cancel from your account settings at any time, keeping access until the end of the paid period.
