Accessibility Statement

Last updated: August 1, 2026

Channel Farm should be usable by everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, screen magnification, voice control, or captions. This page explains the standard we work to, where we currently fall short, and how to get help if something on the site blocks you.

1. The standard we work to

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. That is the level most commonly referenced in U.S. and EU accessibility law, and it covers things like keyboard access, text contrast, form labels, and clear focus indicators.

2. Where we are today

We are partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Partially conformant means most of the site meets the standard, and some parts do not yet.

We have not commissioned an independent accessibility audit. Our assessment is based on our own testing, so it is a self-assessment rather than a certification, and it may miss problems that a specialist review would find. If you find one, please tell us. See section 5.

3. Known limitations

These are the gaps we are aware of and working on:

  • The video editor timeline. Trimming, reordering, and dragging clips on the timeline are built around a mouse or trackpad. Some of these actions do not have a keyboard equivalent yet. If you need to edit a video and cannot use the timeline, email us and we will make the change for you.
  • Checkout and sign-in. Payment pages are hosted by Stripe and Google sign-in is hosted by Google. Those screens are built and controlled by them, so their accessibility is not ours to fix. We can take payment another way if one of them blocks you.
  • Captions in generated videos. Videos you create can have on-screen captions burned in, but this is a setting on your brand profile and it can be switched off. If you publish for a deaf or hard-of-hearing audience, keep captions turned on.
  • Older marketing pages. Some pages predate this statement and may have text contrast or heading structure below the Level AA target.

4. How we test

We check new and changed pages with automated browser accessibility tooling, and we test the main flows, which are signing up, creating a video, and managing your subscription, using a keyboard alone. Automated tools catch only a share of real problems, so reports from people actually using the site carry more weight than any scan.

5. Tell us about a problem

If any part of Channel Farm is hard or impossible for you to use, email hello@channel.farm. It helps if you can tell us:

  • The page or the address of the page.
  • What you were trying to do.
  • The browser, device, and any assistive technology you were using.

We aim to reply within 5 business days. We will tell you where we have got to, and if a fix is going to take a while, we will offer a way to get the same thing done in the meantime. That includes doing the task on your behalf, over email, at no extra cost.

6. What this statement covers

This statement applies to channel.farm and the Channel Farm app. It does not cover third party services we link to or embed, or the videos our customers create and publish, which are their content and their responsibility.
